Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Lash Lift.
A Lash Lift typically lasts six to eight weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare routine. Individual results vary, so touch-ups every six to eight weeks help maintain curl. Avoid oil-based products and rubbing eyes to extend longevity.
When performed by trained professionals using correct technique and quality products, a Lash Lift should not damage natural lashes. Proper application and aftercare preserve lash health. If your lashes are brittle or previously damaged, consult your technician before booking.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes — no mascara, oil, or eye creams. Remove contact lenses or bring a case to remove them. Avoid lash serums 24 hours prior and plan about 45–60 minutes for the service and consultation.
For the first 24–48 hours avoid water, steam, saunas, heavy sweating and eye makeup to allow the lift to set. Use oil-free cleansers and avoid oil-based mascaras to prolong results. Schedule tinting or touch-ups as needed.
You can wear mascara after the initial 24–48 hour setting period; oil-free formulas work best. Lash extensions are possible but discuss compatibility with your technician. Many clients prefer a lift plus tint for a natural, mascara-free look.
Tinting is often offered as an add-on and may not be included in the base service. At The Palace Salon Spa & Boutique we offer lash tinting to enhance lifted lashes — ask when booking to combine services for a defined finish.
